Malcom X and Mike Rose narritive comparison

Reading both Malcolm X's and Mike Rose's narratives were both truly inspiring to read, both talked about how something was important to them, and what they did to reach that goal, Malcolm talked about his situation in being in jail and not being able to read, and only slept 3-4 hrs a night because he was trying to be more of a educated black man as well improving his penmanship. Mike rose is nationally recognized American education scholar who went to UCLA. his narrative talked about his events in the class room. both narrative essays format were similar except one was longer than the other, but reading both has put me on the right track to write my paper.
